Experience the magical feeling of flying 2 feet above the water on a Fliteboard eFoil! This is a fully guided experience starting with a 30 minute on-shore introduction and lesson. Then we'll move into the water for up to 1.5 hours of riding time.
With wireless headset communication, your guide will take you from prone riding (on your belly) to kneeling and then to standing within a short time. Once you get gain some comfort and control on plane, you're ready to take your first flght! With a slight shift of your weight, the foil will start to ascend and the board will rise above the water. Shift you weight forward to touch back down. When you're ready for the challenge, hone in your balance finesse and extend your flight time a little more after each and every takeoff.
Helmets and life vests will be provided. Multiple participants can divide up the ride time however they choose.
Met with Duane at Walsh Landing. Great teacher, had me up and riding.
We had a fantastic time. Branden was thorough and helpful. There were some technical difficulties from the boards not having the correct paired controllers (I think) so we had to switch boards and run just one. Ate a little of our time but he made up for it just letting us ride the one board down to 0%. That’s the only reason for the 4 star review. Seems there was a disconnect in comms and prep from the store. Shit happens and I totally get that, a little more time prepping could have prevented that. Other than that, it was a great experience and well worth it if you’ve been curious about e-foiling.
What a great time and experience!
Private eFoil lesson from Walsh Landing on Lake Austin in early May. 2nd time getting a lesson so knew basic controls & technique at the start, but Luke was super helpful in teaching me new tricks & how to foil in a more stable and enduring manner. The setting (generally calm conditions / beautiful river & inlets) & equipment (new board / helmet w headset to speak w instructor while riding) were both top notch. Pricing was in line with what I've seen elsewhere. Such an amazing way to unwind and be on the water after a long work day. Will be back again next time I'm in town!
